Kieran Mackay
Kieran Mackay is a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer at Iron Village Strength and Conditioning.
He grew up playing sports year-round and began his strength training and coaching journey in high school at North Shore Performance Training under James Baker, where he learned the fundamentals and fell in love with training.
Kieran attended Stonehill College where he played rugby and continued to pursue his love for fitness.
After graduating he started his coaching career at Warrior Fitness in Malden, MA. There he developed expertise in programming, leading group classes, and training professional hockey athletes as well as MMA fighters & jiu jitsu athletes.
He later served as a personal trainer at the Beverly Athletic Club, helping clients achieve results across a wide range of goals.
Most recently—and most importantly—Kieran joined Iron Village, where he has found a home among like-minded individuals who prioritize function, longevity, community, and hard work. He coaches multiple group classes each week in addition to 1:1 and small-group sessions, and continues to train groups of MMA fighters focused on strength and conditioning.
Having dealt with his own injuries and pain in the past, Kieran knows firsthand that setbacks don’t have to limit your progress. With the right coach and the right approach, anyone can get stronger in the gym. His coaching philosophy centers on building physical resilience and athleticism while helping people look good and feel good—and he works with clients of all experience levels.
