Nicole has been in the health and wellness industry for 15 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences and Dietetics at the University of Vermont then headed west for her Master’s in Public Health at San Diego State University.
She has worked to develop wellness content for an online platform, was the General Manager for the recreation center at Harvard University and currently develops wellness programs for various companies. She has been an invited speaker at a variety of events across MA spreading the word about practicing work/life balance, wellness and more. Recently, Nicole spoke at the MA Conference for Women and is a Health and Wellness contributor to a local insurance internet news site.
She has spent many years coaching group exercise classes including cycling, strength training, HIIT and conditioning and TRX. She also worked as a personal trainer and over the years has come to the realization that being “healthy” doesn’t mean just exercising, or just eating well. It is a totally unique experience for each individual and includes many other factors including relationships, career, sleep, stress, activity, food, etc. This realization led her to the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where she studied to become a health coach.
As a health coach, she works with her clients to focus on improving energy, choosing nutrient-dense foods, finding simple ways to incorporate physical activity into their daily routine and ensuring they identify new and realistic lifestyle practices that can be done each day to achieve optimal health.
